Year 1 Blog 2024/25

This week we looked at different types of beats and making a beat pattern of 2, 3 or 4. We tapped and sang beats using sounds and then had a go at following a steady beat on instruments.  The children then performed for the class if they wanted to and showed us our steady beat!

Today, Year 1 were so lucky to join in with a Titanic workshop. They explored lots of artefacts, continued to learn facts about the Titanic and discussed all their knowledge on why the Titanic sank.  We talked about some of the people that were on the Titanic and what kind of people would have been on the ship during its Maiden Voyage.
