PHSE- Resposibility

 The last couple of weeks in PHSE we have been looking at the word 'responsibility'. We have considered what the word means and thought about who has the responsibility in different situations to look after certain things. We discussed who is responsible for looking after the school and the resources within our classrooms- all of the children were very quick to point out that we all had a responsibility and it wasn't all left to the teacher or Mrs Yardley to sort. 

We then considered the responsibilities that come with looking after something like a pet. We thought about the school ducks and what they need to keep them safe and healthy. 

Today we considered responsibility in regards to money. We thought about where money comes from and who in our households has responsibility for looking after money and ensuring that it gets spent on the right things. There was a lot of discussion about how sometimes mummies and daddies needed to say no to certain things as they may need to spend the money on something else.
